Original Trauma
« on: June 17, 2003, 01:07:26 AM »
I am changing over from 14lb gear back up to 15lb after an injury. I have an El Nino 2000 drilled aggressively, and someone has kindly given me a Trauma to replace it with. What drilling will be the closest, would it be a label drilling or something else?

They're both great balls, and pretty similar, although I think the Trauma is more versatile.  If you drill the Trauma the same as the 2000, I think you'll get a pretty similar reaction.  Following Storm's pattern of replacing previous balls with new technology, I think the Trauma was the newest version of the 2000, just like people are saying the X-Factor replaces the Trauma.  The Deuce is basically a little more versatile than the El Nino Gold, and Trauma ER that it replaced, and the Reloaded I don't really understand, it looks to be incredibly similar to the El Nino 2000.  They already have a particle pearl that they just put out, the EPP, but I can't imagine why they'd turn around and put out another one.

and, because if someone has found a drilling they really love on the Xfactor core, they might want to be able to use that same drilling on a particle pearl.

But seriously, I know a guy who just picked up the EPP, but it planning on buying the Reloaded just so he can "complete the trifecta"

Oh, lol, I thought they were the bowlers company, not the rabbit company.  Sorry, thanks for clearing that up.
