Anybody resurface a Paradigm yet?
« on: March 09, 2006, 02:32:20 AM »
If so, did it bring the hook back? Did it affect how it played the lanes?  Mine is getting close to that point, but I was a little concerned since I've had balls that simply were never the same after being resurfaced.

How many games do you have on it?
Have you clean it regularly?
Do you play mainly on wood or synthetic?

I clean it nightly with the ebonite energizer cleaner, I'm probably around 160-180 games on it.  95% of my games are on wood lane, and obviously it has a few more nicks on it because of it.  I'm still able to score well with it, last thursday a 716 and Sunday a 760 something.  However, it's definately gotten weaker.  I wasn't going to resurface it until I had a prolonged score drop off from it, but I can tell the reaction is getting weaker, and was curious if this is one of those balls that your better off playing with in it's weakened state than resurfacing.  My ebonite TPC players were a great ball, until I had them resurfaced.  Same thing for my Cuda/C 2000.
