I drilled a 2nd Paradigm. I put the lines on the ball myself and mapped it out for the maximum flip, the 4x4 strong with 1½ pin buffer. What a difference! The ball skated in the front and made a complete change of direction in the backend. The flare lines were mich wider apart and fatter on this ball. It hit extremely hard and blew out racks. No 7, 8 or 9 pins with this ball. A couple 10's due to poor shots. Left ball factory finish and could not be happier. I guess now,  the original one which was a 4¾ x 5 at 75 degrees... I will plug and re-drill as a 5x3 according to the Storm drilling sheet because it hits flat as a pancake. In short, the second ball is sick and I would pay attention to the Storm layout instructions for this ball.

hey temp, well it is a layout according to a different proshop guy that is not going to work on that ball. So basically the ball only works if you use Storm's layouts, thats what he says. I have the Trifecta, 5x4 at 75, and a Depth Charge with a 45 degree, 4x3. those are pretty good. I drilled a Reloaded 3½x3½ 90 degree. So I am pretty good. I was gonna do a Fired Up but I got an XCel pearl instead. As for the flare seperation, it is pretty widely spaced between each line on the New Paradigm about 4 or 5 inches. The old one is tighter with smaller lines with less spacing for about 2 maybe 3 inches. Also the old Paradigm tracks higher than the high flare one.

I'm glad you added that part, but I feel that it needs to be emphasized.  Sure you can slap any drilling on the ball and it will still roll down the lane and hook, but you won't be getting the most out of the ball.  Most/All strong asymmetrics have specific drill sheets which must be followed in order to get the best reaction possible.  If I'm paying top dollar for a ball, I want it to be all it can be.

Well that's what I'm saying.. the ball needs to be drilled a specific way to get the benefit of a high end piece. The guy who drills my stuff is great and does a great job, I just was not happy with the first Paradigm. A different proshop guy said that the RAD was too far from the PAP and to plug/redrill it. That's all..
