Title: Paradigm or X-Factor Ace?
Post by: Noy on April 17, 2006, 02:45:43 AM
Hey all, I'm lookin for a ball that can handle medium to medium-heavy conditions with lots of carry down.  I've been looking into storm equipment and have narrowed it down to the Paradigm and the X-FActor Ace.

Im a stroker with med revs and good ball speed.  With my Doom, I throw straight up the 10 board and have it hook into the pocket, but its being very inconsistent coz I think this ball isnt made for the conditions i bowl in.  If you would like to reccommend any other balls like the Pyro or Fire It Up, then please do so, I just really like the ones I listed =)

I have an Ace and love it!  With a Paradigm, which I have not used, but have seen being used seems like it hits stronger and hits harder with more hook.  It is less than an Ace but I am sure a Shop can be more helpful and find the ball that is right for you!

If you have medium to heavy oil and lots of carrydown you better get a Trifecta or a Passion would be even better.

For a more medium condition I'd get the Pyro. But like slop says if you have tons of carrydown you will be better off with a Passion I think. I'm pretty disappointed with my Ace in the real heavy conditions.

I didnt like the Ace on anything other than a half broken down lane or a medium at the very most. It just didnt match up to me that well.
