We'vs had great success with drilling several for our customers.  We DO put the RAD balls on the determinator prior to double check MB placement.  Storm even provides drill sheets and recommendation now on how to drill various balls - i.e. cg left/right or long pin....

In regards to the pro CG balls.  If you have one with the CG to the left of the pin-MB line, it will allow you to kick out the MB but not use an x-hole (as you'd have to with a ball that's inline).  Like CZ illustrated.  So you can have the effect of having the MB swung out without further drilling into the ball (x-hole).  So these could actually be more drill friendly unless you are a righty and the CG is way out to the right of the pin-MB line, in which case you'd likely require a large x-hole.  As for the pro pin balls, they're iffy.  They'd be good if you want to have the pin in an extreme spot (like near the PAP) and keep the CG around grip center, or put the pin in a "normal" spot and have the cg way out somewhere to put a large x-hole.  So there are advantages and disadvantages.
