Parallax Effect Review
« on: February 27, 2021, 10:04:21 AM »
The 2nd iteration of the Parallax series sees this version as a straight up pearl. I decided to drill this one pin down to balance out the mid lane read without it going too long and blowing past the break point. I had found the original Parallax to be more of a niche ball for patterns and I feel this is similar to what I am seeing with the pearl version.

Out of the box I struggled blending out the house pattern. I winded up removing the polish to 2000 grit and played more in the oil line and had plenty of margin/miss room when I did this.

I believe this will be good when you need to move inside and the lanes get a little cliffed the new Parallax will work its way up the hill to get back into the pocket. Also, on medium to longer volume sport patterns this ball could work well and play off the Incite as a ball down.

Parallax Effect
Layout - 55 x 5 x 30

This ball visibly looks alot like a shiny Sure Lock which was one of my favorites.  Plenty of hook, all down the lane but it doesn't miss the window front to back.  This one picks up the mid-lane a bt sooner for me than the original Parallax.  I would say it rolls like a stronger earlier Rubicon UC2, probably the most comparable to a Nuclear Cell!  Pre-order yours today!
