Passion and heavy oil
« on: March 19, 2007, 12:44:27 AM »
Does anyone have a Passion they use on heavy oil patterns?  I'm joining a PBA pattern sport league this summer and need a heavy oil ball.  It's a toss up between this ball or the MoRich Awesome Hook so I'm curious how the Passion worked for everyone else.  Feedback appreciated!

I have my Passion polished to 1500 with Reacta Shine because there wasn't enough oil on my league's shot to keep it from burning out. I most definitely needs the right surface to oil ratio or it will not be as magical. I play a straighter line like The Duke, and the new polished configuration has worked wonders. I had been using a ThunderStruck Solid for my entire series, but game 1 was always touchy because there was a smidge too much oil for the ThSS. But now, the polished Passion gives me the power I need to start things off with 200 games. Thanks polished Passion!

The only problem is that it is hard to find it on the return now because it looks like my teamate's red/black tropical.

Captain Passion: I have no clue why, but that post made me laugh pretty hard. I can totally see that "Thanks polished Passion!" remark said by some infomercial guy with a nasally voice and acne...haha that was awesome.
