Electrify Hybrid & Pearl
« on: April 11, 2020, 10:41:10 PM »
They showed up on the approved list this past week and I’m impatient and wanted to know if anyone had any information on them?

Just a guess, but I would bet they're the new entries into the Hot line. There's only one Match Up in there right now and this is usually the time of year those kinds of balls are released.

Probably because the expo is cancelled, and so is most bowling for the year. Time to scrap releases for 2020 lol...stateside..

While the summer leagues are pretty much gone; I am optimistic that Fall Leagues will get back to full swing on time.  States are going to reopen as some have already started to and we are talking about 4 months away from the typical start for most fall leagues.  Even with Expo cancelled; I am optimistic that releases will start to happen before start of fall leagues as companies wouldnt be able to afford to not release new stuff for the entire year.

At this point, I would just like some news on the status of my current winter leagues.  No word from the bowling center in almost 2 months.  We are far away from any type of reopening around here, and have already been warned that if cases spike after reopening everything will be shut down immediately again.  It is looking like July around here before any bowling centers get to reopen.  When they do, it will be under strict social distancing and reduced occupancy guidelines.  Full leagues as we know it will not be possible.

So with Dilaura Brothers being based in MI, and the removal of the two balls listings on storms website, it makes me wonder if they have decided to release these state side after all, or if the posting of them on the private label tab was a mistake

DiLaura Brothers shows release date as 6/23/20. It showed for the Electrify Hybrid on their website where you don't need an account

Probably a mistake. I'm guessing they went up right when the pages were actually created and filed into the private label tab on accident. IIRC generally the web pages are created a decent bit before they actually go live on a site then added in when release info is put out there.
