pin placement-top weight
« on: January 12, 2007, 03:41:49 AM »
Just wondering what I should be looking for in pin placement and top weight.Thinking about replacing my current Passion at the end of the season.Want the ball to work on heavier conditions. My current Passion has about a 1.5" pin. Lefty, slow to medium speed, medium amount of hand.Thanks.

Passion will probaby work on heavier volumes no matter what pin or top you get.    If you're looking to put the pin under the fingerline, you'll want maybe 3" at the most.  I'd go for 1-3", preferring close to 2".  If you need more length (it sounds like you may have a little more hand than speed), go closer to 3" so you can raise the pin more.  2-3oz of top unless you're shy of weight holes.
