Ball Review:
The Pitch Purple is absolutely phenomenal. As a lower rev player it is rare that I get myself into urethane although from what I saw with the Pitch Purple I will definitely have it in my bag for those shorter length sport patterns.
The main difference between the Purple and the Black is the additional length and angle the bowler will see with the Purple. The Purple almost acted like a lower end reactive ball. It has a tendency to get down lane and continue off the spot whereas the Black picked up super quick and backed off down lane. The Purple is still highly controllable and will perform well on those shorter to medium length patterns either on the fresh or during transition. This ball will, also, perform well on THS when the bowler elects for control.

The Pitch Purple is our newest installment in the fantastic line of “urethane” we have. The Pitch Purple features the same low diff capacitor core found in the Pitch Black, but is now wrapped in solid rev control. This cover has additional additives that allow it to be cleaner, faster and more continuous downlane when compared to the Pitch Black. Anyone that likes super control pieces, the Pitch Purple is a must!!

Threw this ball for the first time at a Storm Demo Day presentation. it is definitely a ball for low rev players.

I watched a lady with little hand come off the corner with it and strike consistently.
I saw some elderly gentlemen testing it out and they seemed to like it as well.

This is definitely not a piece I'd have use for. I got no read from this ball. it pushed when I didn't expect it, and it hooked when I didn't expect it! I didn't like it, but to each his own!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!
