Thunderstruck vs. Dark Thunder comparisons wanted

If I had to guess I would say this...  The Dark Thunder I believe was "rollier" or smoother than the Thunderstruck.  I had a Dark Thunder and the first time I threw the Thunderstruck and it took off on the back I was kind of surprised.

Thanks Fluff, that is what I was wondering about.  I am looking for a medium to medium-light rolly ball and I was thinking about a Dark Thunder drilled relatively tame (maybe 5 x 2.5) pin under with maybe a 4000 Abralon finish.  

My wife throws a Thunderstruck and while it is smooth compared to her Domination it may be a bit more backend that I was looking for.

I use a pair of Dark Thunders, one 5 x 4 1/2, pin over ring, cg slightly right and another 5 x 4 1/2 pin under bridge, cg slightly right and can use either on 80% of the conditions I face. Pin over ball is polished, pin under ball OOB at 1000 Matte for more oil and roll conditions. Smooth, hard hitting, versatile ball, I don't think you would be disappointed.

Both are smooth balls with virtually identical cores (the Dark Thunder is inverted); the difference is whether you like Reactor or Monsoon better. Both take surface prep very well. The Dark Thunder seems to be a smidge earlier than the Thunderstruck but they're both arc-y balls in the backend and drive deliberately through the pins.

You can make either one of them act like the other depending almost solely on your surface prep. If you buy both, I would suggest prepping them quite differently and/or drilling them quite differently or they're going to run over each other.
