Need some help please
« on: April 29, 2004, 10:22:24 PM »
Alright I have been sitting here fighting with my interpersonal demons for the past couple of weeks going back and forth-back and forth on what balls I should take out to Nationals in Reno.  Here is my list and I am looking for the best 4.  One thing to keep in mind with this list is that I have recently changed my span.  The first group of balls are the ones with my new span specs and are the balls that fit the best.  The others have my old specs which I am still able to throw but I do not feel quite a comfortable like I do with my new specs.

These balls all are drilled with my new span specifications
X-factor #1 - heavy mid-lane rolling ball with semi-aggressive back end
X-factor #2 - a very smooth even arching ball with just a little pop on the backend but definitely not what would be considered a snapping motion
Trauma ER
Hot Wire
Hot Rod

These balls all are drilled with my old span specifications
Trauma
Tour Power

Can anyone help me out and make a suggestion or 2 about which 4 out of these 7 I should take?  My pofile is updated to give you an idea of my game.
Thanks

Personally I would take the 2 X's the Hotwire and the Hot Rod.

Especially as they have all the same measurements. You dont want to be switiching and fighting the lanes and fighting the feel. Keep it simple!
Less things you have to worry about the better. Hit the pocket, Hope you carry and make spares if you don't!

Good Luck
