Title: power charge vs apocalypse

both are 1500 grit polished but the rg and diff. are different[rg 2.49 vs 2.55 diff. .040 vs .55],on the other hand the thing i noticed the most is the position the flip block on the power charge it is on the bottom and for the apocalyspe it is on the top.so the question here is which do you prefer i am leaning towards the apocalyspe because i seem to have better results when the flip block is on the top of the core vs on the bottom.

Betcha you find each has totally different look on the lanes!
AND
needs a different amount of oil to perform at their optimum.

charlest, is the reason why because of the wgt. block or the specs because they are both 1500 grit also which one do you like?

Because not only are the cores different so are the covers. The basic result will be be two really different looks for two balls that are designed to be fairly different.

There's a thread I started in the Roto-Grip forum about differences in balls, just because of the intro of the Apocalypse. I talk about it, the Rush and the Top Fuel. Roger of RG put the finishing touches on the discussion, but Mark Curran and I had a longer discussion. Take a look; it may help you understand this ball better. (Mark C is a RG aficionado.)
