Building an Arsenal
« on: August 13, 2007, 01:35:18 PM »
Ok well im a tweener with medium revs and medium ball speed. i am currently trying to complete my arsenal and i still feel like im missing that one ball to use on medium conditions with carry down.

Arsenal to Date:
Storm T-Road Solid
Ebonite NVS
Storm Secret Agent (polished)
Visionary Ogre Pearl
Roto Grip Neptune

If anybody has any suggestions please reply. Thanks

The Secret Agent can handle carrydown well in it's box state (at least for me), but I don't know if it will polished. I think you'd be able to handle everything besides really oily and dry.

I would think the T-Road Solid could handle the med. with carrydown.

I would assume as a tweener you should be able to make a T-Road Solid handle most of the heavier shots (move right and straighten out) and the Neptune should handle most lighter shots (move left and loop it more).

I agree with your assessment that you do not have a true medium ball.  Yes, you can make almost everyone if these balls work - but why go to extreme measures if you don't need to?

I would describe myself the same - as a tweener - and for the past 4 months or so I have been living with the Shift as my medium ball.  It is a great, smooth, ball to either roll down the track as well as loop it as needed.  Since it is a pearl particle it is cleaner through carrydown than comparable pearl reactives.
