For those who have thrown both, which ball performs best from deeper inside lines?
Using same layout and surface prep, what ball is more angular? Would one be more over\under than the other?
-
Wrecker is stronger and more angular it has a stronger cover and core, punch out is smooth but wrecker will go sideways on backend

+1

The Wrecker was an over and under nightmare for me. It got worse when I added surface to it. FWIW, the Punch Out and Wipe Out have been discontinued.

Dont have a Wrecker, but Ill 3rd the statement. Every one Ive seen is super flippy. I read the same thing about the Punch Out, but I think it rolls more like a polished solid than a flippy pearl. Ive always done great with light bulb capped cores though. I can start out with it up the boards and then move deeper without a big loss in carry. Heavier oil and carry down are where its starts to fumble.

It's funny that you mentioned that, because I mean for the life of me I put almost every surface on the punch out, heck I even softened my speed and the ball still went over 50 ft and would not wiggle, finally just gave up and tossed it in the dumpster.
Now the Wrecker, it's just a skid flippy son of a b*tch ;D I love it!!!!!

My PO is way more ball than I expected. It was a $40 Buddies special, which is just a super win! I dropped to 14 this year and it was "trial" ball, worth every penny.

The Punch Out was on buddiesproshop for 40?

Yeah, last summer. Idk why, but it went back to normal.
