PYRO
« on: September 16, 2006, 07:01:12 AM »
Ok, I went into the PRO-SHOP to get a FIRED UP and was told that a better ball would be the PYRO. Other then going on what they said, I really know nothing about this ball. Can anyone tell me more about it. I usually stand 15 and throw ten, going out to around the 5 with my STRIKE ZONE. I was looking for a ball that would help when lanes broke down or I ran into medium lanes. Is this the ball that I was looking for or was I sold a ball that they just wanted to get rid of?

Since the Pyro is pearl particle, its a smoother version of the Fired-Up. Same core, same base coverstock. If the ball sees friction, it is still pretty angular. Scotch brite will help tame it down if neccessary

I went tonight to throw the PYRO. WOW!!! I asked the guy if I could oil the lanes like a league shot and he said that was fine. (Benefits of a small house and knowing everyone that works there.) After oiling the pair, I shot a 204,222,213. Not bad for the first time throwing the ball. I stood the same place that I did with the Strike Zone and it just turned the corner instead of snapping. It made a nice turn and hit the pocket. So I think that I am going to really enoy this ball. Fortunately, I can speed up if I need to. But this ball hit a ton and cleared the deck.
