Title: Pyro. Pew!

My new Pyro, which I bought to take to Nationals next month, does just what I wanted it to do - strong continuous smooth arc.

But MAN, does it STINK!!.  I can smell it from the back of the settee and if I put it in the trunk of my car the car smells like a fruit basket.

I have a couple other Storm balls with "fragrances" but nothing as strong as this.  I'll bet some other guys have got Pyros and wonder why they have no scent.  Because I have it!!!

Does this go away or is my ball going to continue to be the skunk at the wedding?

my friend has a pyro and i really liked the scent, more so than my "Citrus" agent

DOconTEX,

I agree wholeheartedly.  Great ball but very pungent.  When you open the bag the stench almost knocks you out.  I have quite a few scented Storm products but this one takes the cake for strength of smell!

wow well wait til you smell a drilled agent, yuck (mines the first batch its like orange floor cleaner) its disgusting, so i used a higher dose of alcohol in my cleaner (mix isophrofyl alcochol (i know i spelled something wrong) with black magic rejuvinator) it knocked the stench down a bit, believe me one ball i don't use strong cleaner on (the hybrid, want to save smell) and the other i dose it with extra alcohol (the agent) lol theres good and bad and i personally like the smell of the pyro i smelt

The life of the scent varies more with what scent it is than the coverstock it's put in it seems.  The banana scent in my Core Power LRG faded rather quickly.  The amaretto in my Vertigo is noticeable, but not as strong as it was OOB.

I think that the grape scent is one of the more potent ones, but it still doesn't last as long as the mints and cinnamon seem to.

they have been getting better with the scents.....the black and red tropical storm you can smell when somebody walks into the house with it....

I smell the Passion in my car 3 days after I taken it out.  It's another one of those that almost knocks your socks off.  When it overpowers an entire garage, you know they over did it.

I had a Trauma (Cinnamon) and have an El Nino X-It (Raspberry).  As long as I didn't keep them in my bag and just sitting on my ball rack, the scent faded quickly.

However, I've had my X-It in my bag for a couple of weeks now, and the scent has gotten stronger since it's been kept in the dark of the bag for a while now  I open the bottom half of the bag and my teammates say What the heck is THAT??

I love the pyro and thought it smelled good at first but, now it sort of makes me sick!

I remember a NIB Banshee I left in the car for a couple days. Took near two weeks for the Pina Colata smell to subside.

I still think it is the best thing ever.  I hate smoke, and this just keeps all my stuff from reaking from that nasty smoke smell.  I for one, can't wait untill all smoking is banned from inside buildings...So keep up the smells, give me something to smell besides smoke....
