Hey guys I need your opinion on a new ball

I am looking for something that is similiar to my storm power charge pearl. Ive only thrown storm ball the past 4 years and im around a 205 average.  I like the power charge pearl because on a variety of conditions, it gets down the lane very easily, doesn't try to hook early, and saves all of its energy for down lane. I need to get something else that has similiar motion but hooks a little bit more.  The power charge pearl is good for medium conditions and even light conditions(play deep inside line).  I was told maybe the pyro? any suggestions?

The pyro will work with the right drilling. Mine has the pin above bridge and the CG kicked out and it does that very well. From what I hear the Pyro with a stronger drilling is much more even like a particle ball usually is.

I think the Pyro will do it for you and it will have more hook than the power charge. The one thing that impresses the heck out of me with the pyro is its continuation. Once it starts hooking, it dosent stop.

I used to own a Charge as well and while I agree with your description of the ball I'd add one other characteristic you left off - early roller for a pearl ball.  The Pyro will be stronger overall than the Charge, but it will start its roll about 2-4 feet later than a Power Charge Pearl.  

Depending on how much stronger you are looking for you may want to consider an Agent.  It is also an early rolling pearl ball with a much stronger move at its break point.  The Agent is stronger than the Pyro but I think you will find it will have a closer reaction to the Charge.

I'm sorry, it is not clear to me.  Are you looking for a replacement or a companion ball?  If you are looking for a companion ball as I thought I read I stick by my original response - get a Agent.  If you are looking for a replacement I'd agree with charlest - there really isn't anything similar in the current Storm line up.  The new Jolt Solid when it comes out may be close.

OK, so I read it right the first time.

Personally I'd go with an Agent.  If layed out correctly both balls should start the turn around the same time with the Agent being 3-5 boards stronger.  Use the Agent for Medium-Heavy down to Medium and use the PCP from Medium down to Medium-Light.  Both are low RG balls but the real difference is the semi-agressive Reactor cover on the Agent as compared to the milder Curelyon on the PCP.

personally, for me, the thunderstruck would be the way to go.. The Older series of the thunder, has been just great, and the ThunderStruck (regular, not pearl) would probably be the best for you.

A great companion to the Vertigo would be the Paradiegm if wanting more length and more angle to the pocket.
