1500 grit polished.

There are several possibler easons.
What ball have you been using on this condition and what is its surface?

So it got better as the shot broke down??  Was lazy on fresh oil?  So your tilt and surface are the problem and not layout?
This was of high contention last week with a lot if differing opinions. If you are using zero gravity and Hyper Cell effectively than the layout is not the issue. It's the surface and your tilt.

Great. That's the easiest to fix. Is start by just taking polish off with a 4000 pad. It will give it a little more bite. Keep in mind it is not as strong  as zero gravity or hyper cell. I usually have good luck at 500/4000 or 500/3000 surface on fresh medium oil.  With my tilt at 26 degrees I only use polish on very very weak balls and only use in lanes where the heads are burnt.

Yes I do see a difference in skipping grits vs progressive grits. With the tilt I need more grip on fresh. So I skip grits, clears heads and then reads hard.  I

How does the zero gravity compare to hyper cell?

I think the zero is a lot weaker than the cell. I believe original nano is stronger.  HyperCell is strongest ball ever had and I have had them all.

Zero gravity is basically a cover heavy symmetrical ball. The PSA ends up in the thumb post drill when checked on a Determinator.

Storm realizes too many pro shops STILL don't understand the differences in layout choices between the 2 types of cores.

Best part about it is many bowlers will love it on THS and it will be more versatile than the strong cover, strong core monsters that oftentimes "appear" weaker because there isn't enough oil on the lanes.

I think it will read the mids a touch later and be a lot sharper at the break. And I think it will be more versatile than the Disturbed.

My driller laid his out 2 weeks ago with a short pin to pap since it's labeled and asym. I had him spin it afterwards and sure enough the Psa was in the thumb.

With that being said he now had an early rolling "symmetrical" but when I watched him throw it we were both surprised by the reaction at the back of the lane. Much stronger than we expected.
