Ill try and make a long story short.
I recently pickup up bowling again after 15 years. I use to work at a bowling alley and bowled 4 times a week. When I stopped bowling I had around a 198 average I guess.
Again I just started bowling its been like 9 weeks now into the leauge and averaging about a 180. I bought a storm shock trauma for $15.00 from a guy at work before spending alot of money into a bowl.
Well I like the storm balls and thinking seriously about buying a Storm X Factor Ace.
Questions I have are being rusty to the new days of bowling is whats all this "Top Weight", Pin Position" stuff? When I get a new ball should I worry about any of this? Should my local pro shop know? The lanes I bowl on are Med oil to heavy. Also I notice more people are using 15# balls now instead of 16#?
What gives on this, should I buy a 15# too? Any special drilling instructions?
It seems alot of good bowlers now stand much more to the left and throw way to the right and get that nice break toward the end of the lanes. In my days you stood toward the right threw stright and hooked. Like what Im doing now but ready to make some changes.
If anyone has any sugestions Id apperciate it and thanks!
