Well, the first thing i would ask, is, is it short oil or just very dry backends.
If its short oil like 30ft i would look at something like the Barbed Wire, or Flame, or BigHit. Or even just going to plastic.
If its just a dryer shot than normal, i would think of using like the HotRod, or BarbedWire, TooHot, HotWire, or flame, BigHit. I would get something with a bigger pin placement, like 4inches or more.
And then have it drilled 5x5 or 5x4.5 that way it gets down the lane before it makes its turn.
If you do a Storm #3 drill, i believe its made for length and a mild backend reaction.
I have a couple friends who are bowling in a scratch league that rotates around 4 different oil patterns, and one of them is a 28 or 30ft pattern, and some of them are just going with plastic, because Reactive no matter how drilled will just be too much for the lanes.
