Question for the Storm people....
« on: August 21, 2009, 10:51:00 PM »
I have a team mate that uses a Hy-Road now and does pretty well with it...
He is a med speed higher rev player...

He usually doesn't do well with Angular balls since he usually swings it....

I just picked up a Natural for him but.....

Would a Fast a Furious or the Reign be better for him?

His family have been thru some tough times lately so I want to surprise him with some new equipment..

Furious would be the smoothest of the three. I wouldnt go for the reign, that ball has some crazy backend, so he probably wont like it. And the fast is kinda angular, but still might cause a problem. But if he liked the hyroad, he will like the furious for sure.

Randy, who are you talking about?  Is this for Eric?

Anyway, I concur that out of the 3 balls you mentioned the Furious would be the smoothest.  Either a Fast or Reign will be long and angular at box finish.

Randy, you didn't say what you wanted for him more pop if so i think i'd go with the rogue cell,2nd dimension think they would give you similar look but stronger mine do the furious would be good if looking for good midlane read with smooth Archie backend, the shinny stuff will be flippy again alot depends on the layout

depends if you want it for him to handle some oil or dry

If dryer go with Natural oil go with furious

Reign maybe same as his hy-road

Randy,

I gave Eric an X-Factor Vertigo a couple of years ago.  A similarly drilled Furious will be a touch smoother and less angular than his Vertigo.  It would be a good complement to his Hy-Road which is about a foot or two longer and stronger off the spot.

if your friend is good enough to adjust for the natural, let him have that ball
