Is this ball good for med to heavy with carry down?

Those of you with this ball, please give me your opinions.

My bowling partner throws this ball and has been throwing it in our league all year.  This ball really has a huge backend and carrydown does not seem to affect it the way it affects my shots... cuts through them like a knife.  He throws a cranker-type full roller with lots of hand and this ball will 90-degree turn from right in the slop of the carrydown.  This could have a lot to do with his style and release, but to answer your question - in my opinion, yes it would be a good choice.
