2nd Hy-Road needed ?
« on: February 13, 2009, 10:54:31 AM »
I drilled a Hy-Road with the pin up and dulled it to 4000 and I love it. It hits so hard and rolls so clean and smooth. Would it be worth it to get another anr drill it weaker and keep it polished for lighter oil patterns? I'm not really a big fan of getting 2 of the same balls, but this ball it great. I have also toyed with getting the T-Road Pearl or Steet Rod pearl for lighter stuff also.

How do you have yours drilled? and what surface is on each. Yes, the ball is fantastic....

I have two, one drilled pin under with a 4 x 3 layout.. this is my earlier smoother rolling Hy-Road.. The second I drill with 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 layout which gives me a length and a stronger motion down lane..both are great...it's not bad to have two or more of the same balls, as long as they serve and individual purpose.

I recently purchased a second Hyroad (pin down), 1st Hyroad was (pin up).  For me (Tweener, Med Speed) the Hyroad is my favorite ball.  Buying a second one has only doubled my love for this ball.  One of the smarter bowling purchases I have made.
