Flashpoint still lovin the reaction
« on: August 07, 2005, 02:48:55 PM »
Controllable, yet almost flippy.  For me seems to almost always find a way to pop the hole and generate a lot of reaction!

Unfortunately many times it gets carry that is unreal but when dead solid flush it has always not come thru for me like I expect.

On teh ohter hand...Today it was really a little oily for it and ball was getting down the lanes and flipping hard at a point that looked late to me but somehow still had incredible carry while only catching a nick of teh head pin.

I still think the Flash Point was/is a very under rated ball. For some reason people just didn't like it or didn't notice it, what a shame.

Right on!!! I now have a backup. I wonder how eraser banshee compares, flipped weightblock and new reactor!

Pete Weber made this thing look GOLDEN at the regional last weekend.  When the Vertigo became too much, it looked like he made a light shift right at the breakpoint, gave it some room and the Flashpoint struck and struck the last few games of the block.  I was very impressed.  Very clean and smooth read off the break.

I'd loved to had seen that ! I really think, now  maybe, folks will notice how good this ball is. I have one,and one NIB just in case,  don't use it much anymore, went to another company, but it sure is a good 'work horse' of a ball.
