I had a Cell and my Dimension hooks more than my Cell did..

They where both drilled pin up but the Dimension is drilled a tad bit stronger and its symetric (no marked mass bias) where the Cell is asymetric with a marked mass bias..

The Dimension hooks about 3-4 boards more than my Cell did..

On Edit: The Cell is a great ball and it will move in oil with the best of them but this ball just has a different roll to me than the Cell.. There is just no quit in this Dimension. I played outside 18-5 and then moved deep inside and the ball still made the move back to the pocket with great carry.. Very few 10's..

I threw mine a bit more this afternoon.  First we got blessed with an alright lane, some breakdown to it.  I was able to throw it anywhere and be alright.  It makes a strong move to the pocket, and it just doesn't stop.  Then they oiled the lane, and it was a 38 foot THS.  The middle was an absolute flood, while the outside was pretty dry.  I was able to play straight up anywhere between 5 and 10 and be alright.  I tried to swing it, but it didn't quite make it.  Not surprising with the way I bowl (stroker with decent speed very straight game).  Then after 2 games of this fresh shot, it was back to being able to swing from 15 to anywhere.  Very quick breakdown on this shot.  Very fun with the Dimension

Tomorrow I bowl PBAx on the Cheetah, so using this ball will be pointless.  Tuesday I bowl THS league on a somewhat slicker surface.  Looking very forward to what this bad boy can do.

I'm picking mine up today.

Hijack, sort of:  On Wednesday I'm subbing in a PBAx league.  The condition is viper.  Anyone had a chance to throw their Dimension on this pattern?  It's a synthetic lane house.  I am bringing my Gravity for sure, my Dimension & have one other spot to choose either Attitude, Shift or Special Agent.  I'm leaning to the Shift for something more different than the first 2 balls.  It's 4 games on 3 man teams, but we're bowling the blind.  All balls are drilled strong & more angular, almost identical to each other.

From what I gather, this Dimension will be WAY too much ball for the Viper.  I'd stick with Gravity, and potentially even weaker.  4 games will destroy a PBA shot, especially a shorter/lesser volumed one.

Okay, thanks.  I'll bring the Shift.  I am speed dominant, that's why I wanted to see what the Dimension will do in practice 1st.

And Dizzy, I'll try to remember to breathe properly.LOL.

Well the interest in this new relaese has been great. Ever since the release of the Cell { Roto }  and the Gravity Shift, and the Rapid Fire, Storm sales have once again picked up for us.  Now the Streamline roller bags finally have larger wheels,  so sales of them should pick up.

Nice job storm.

BTW I would love to see Storm sell their step 1-2-3 polish in smaller bottles.
Either 5-6- or 8 oz.  I think Storm is losing a lot of sales by not having these available in the smaller bottle, like Brunswick and Ebonite have.

I totally agree about the Storm Step 1-2-3.  But when I e-mailed them regarding those compounds, they said to not use them by hand and to use the corresponding regular polishes (X-Tra Shine, etc).

Well that may be true,  however I think Storm is missing the boat here.  Many bowlers today have their own ball spinner.  Just ask T & J how many personal ball spinners they sell each year.

Now the problem I have with their Quarts is that, the compound tends to seperate after a period of time.  Even with daily usage,  we have to shake and turn the bottle to help keep the compound from seperating.

Many customers feel that it takes them to long to use a Quart,  and they lose part of the product thru seperation.  That is why they prefer smaller bottles, like a 8 oz size.  I only see this problem with Storm's polish.

We like to have on hand,  all the polish's that the company's  use on their balls.  And Sales of 5-6- and 8 oz bottles, do very well.  However I have had more then a few complain about a quart of Storm polish going bad.  And that is why I would hope Storm would package it in a smaller bottle.

jls:  hearing that would make me a believer.  And to even further your cause, I'm planning on purchasing a spinner in August.

UPDATE:  I threw my Dimension in league for the first time last night.  Gah, what a monster.  I was a bit fearful for my life, during practice it was just a hook monster.  I had to put it away after a few shots, too much hook for me.  I threw my Passion for the first two games, then when that line sort of just went away, I went to the Dimension and went to town.  Threw a ton of balls in the pocket, all carrying great.  The pin action was immense to say the least messengers flying around like gnats.  The only thing that had me confused was when I threw it a pinch fast, it hit flush but left a stone 10 pin.  This happened a few times, and makes me wonder if it'll do this all the time.  I hope not, this thing is awesome where it is.  A great compliment to my Passion.  It'll help open up the lane once the more direct line is gone.

noodlejester,

One thing to keep in mind about the Dimension, although you may have left a few tens when picking up your speed, chances are from that line, or angle, you may have left a 2,8,10 or bucket, maybe some variation of an unmakable split or spare conversion with say a Special Agent or your Passion. The ten pin is a makable spare, and I'll take the seven over a 3,7,9 or bucket any day(from the left side).
At least, this has been my experience with my Dimension, compared to my Special Agent drilled the exact same way.

That's true, I never thought of that actually Tommy.  I'm going to the lanes tonight to practice, so I'll bring the big three:  Passion, Gravity, Dimension (what a sick lineup, I'm so happy I have these lol), and I'll keep you all posted.  Such a good ball, so so continuous.
