Rico drill on a Reign

Has anyone played around with this drilling on this ball?

What reaction do you think it would have on

Low rev player
Strokers
High rev player

For me, the new ball thing would have nothing to do with it.  I would put a smoother layout on a skid/flippy ball to take advantage of a cleaner look through the front for better stored energy than a stronger ball with a more standard layout would have.  I'm considering doing something like that to a Reign in order to better deal with a league shot in town that is extremely over/under.
