Razor Wire
« on: July 08, 2004, 08:55:14 PM »
Just saw that the other day thrown by a bowler without much hand but boy that coverstock looks very clean!

I was very impressed with the Pro glide coverstock.

I have a brand new in box (15)Hot Wire 2 1/2 in pin out.  I'd be willing to trade for a Razor Wire.  I already have an accutread ball with an X factor Deuce that I like!

Either NIB for NIB or you give me a little cash!

I have a Barbed wire that is the only ball I can use in one house. This place is old wood and runs a 38 foot extreme wet dry pattern. Everything else in my bag must be started super deep because if you hit the dry early the ball over hooks big time. The Barbed wire allows me to play the oil line and gives me area. The only question is carry. Some days this ball gets to the pocket but nine counts me to death. Other days it carries well. I'd love to see this cover with the Eraser core. I bet you'd get a mild ball with HIT!

I just got my Razor Wire punched this weekend (finally).  I can't get too technical, but the pin is directly under the fingers and there's a small weight hole at 3:00 (if you're looking directly down at the ball's grip).

I tested it on a burnt-up sport shot and after getting warmed up I felt the ball really rolled nice and smooth, and just enough pop on the backend (even with carrydown from the previous night's sport league) that I think I may *really* like this ball on a THS
