Recent Storm Balls
« on: October 13, 2008, 01:33:59 AM »
I have had the pleasure of throwing the the most recent Storm equipment and I cannot say enough good things about them.

Rapid Fire Pearl - Great replacement for the Fired Up.  I used 1000 abralon on this ball and it is a monster.  Great for medium and longer patterns.

Dimension - This is probably the best ball on the market right now.  I drilled two, one pin up and one pin down.  I polished the pin up and then hit it with 1000 abralon and that has become my benchmark ball.  The pin down one just flat hooks.  It is great on longer patterns and medium patterns on the fresh.

Street Rod solid and pearl - These may be the two most under-rated balls on the market.  The solid street rod is very smooth rolling and predictable.  It works great on medium and shorter patterns to control the back of the lane.  The pearl is what it should be, longer and more flip than the solid.  They are a great one-two punch.

Storm is making some really good bowling balls right now and I can't wait to see what is next.

Glad to see everyone likes storm so much! But, I found the Rapid Fire to be a great replacement for my spit fire due to I've never owned a Fired Up.
