Dimension Pearl coming out for Christmas?
« on: October 05, 2008, 12:12:59 PM »
Not starting a rumor just asking a question.  I'd like to have it in time for the Military bowling championships in January.

Then I could bring:

Mighty Shift
Dimension
Dimension pearl
Shift/Gravity Shift
????? Recommendaions???

Thanks,

Over 200 hits and no one knows anything about the Dimension pearl?

I would imagine there will be with the sucess of the cell pearl.  Try a street rod,

That's really impressive.  The ball isn't even fully released until the 13th and it's already a sucess!

Hope there's some oil!  I think the weakest ball here is a Shift and that's a Particle Pearl.

I agree, maybe a Street Rod Pearl for dry with a Rapid Fire Pearl and T-Road as benchmark balls for medium.

I agree with Hanging Bananas... Or you could also go with a Street Rod Solid with a pin-axis drill to get control with less oil

I have drilled 2 solids and looking to drill the pearl.  Both my solids get down the lane very well and hit like a mack truck.  The solids take cover adjustments really well I have played with both going down to 500 abralon and and taking up to 4000.  I wouldn't consider them to be a dry lane ball but would get down the lane cleaner then your stronger balls.

Thanks for the feedback.  I do have a Blue Dot.  I was thinking about the Jolt or Street Rod.  The Dimension is a great ball but when lanes dry out, it either hooks too soon (and I don't want to adjust the surface)or rolls out.  All the hype about the Dimension keeps coming is true most of the time.  Many bowlers I bowl with think its me that makes the ball come back from the 2 board with so much power, but its the ball.  Thats why I'm looking for the Dimension pearl, hopefully soon.

I have a T-Road solid that was drilled but the pitches seemed off so I really never threw it.  Should I re-drill the ball? and where would it fit in the line-up?

Thanks again,

Wow, that's amazing, maybe the ball is hooking out of the house in the UPS truck as it is being delivered to pro shops.

News bullitin!!!!!!  In this economy, nothing is setting any records in sales.
So don't let anyone kid or fool you into thinking otherwise.

What us Storm users need is a ball like the Hammer Razyr hate saying it because I'm a die-hard Storm user but they need to maybe put the Reactor coverstock on that 3-Piece Pancake block...TF300

Storm already released several pieces like the Razyr, one line was the Flame and the other was the Hit. The market is really limited for balls like this. Balls like this collect dust at the pro shops, folks want to see the ball hook these days.

You can layout a big piece that reacts only when it sees dry. I have a Dimension with a 2" pin that if it does not see friction, it does not change direction ...all in the drill!
