Unhappy and underused, is what i have to say about my recharge. Its drilled to skid flip pin just above bridge, with a 3.5in pin.
When i bowl with it i never notice the movement of the ball... anyone else throwing one and what are your impressions of it.
I broke it out last night at my 2 man-mini leauge, not the best conditions bowling behind a womans leauge. It seemed to preform well though on straight up shots, it tends to over-react on swing shots. But i havent really played with it enough to make a deffenite judgement.

What kinda drilling does it have? Mine is pin just above ring finger, i also have a HRPS that is drilled with the CG below ring finger and pin to the right... and it seems that the HRPS reacts much stronger than the recharge, and has more of a snappy reaction.
I have been standing on about 45 and sending it up between 20-25 with teh HRPS and once it hits the back end it turns hard and clears the deck. I have yet to find sucess playing the same line with the recharge...
It tends to play better on straight up shots, i guess i just need to bowl with it more.

HRPS and Recharge have different covers and different cores; of course they will be different. HRPS will handle some more carrydown than the Recharge, being solid vs pearl.
Is your HRPS drilled also with pin over bridge?
The Recharge has a taller core, which makes it more skid/flip than the rounder core of the HRPS, even though the Recharge has more flare (which might have reduced with the long pin-PAP distance).
Pearls with pin over bridge can be very sensitive to carrydown or anything approaching wet/drys; they can even make blends seem wet/dry. Following a ladies league with potentially lots of pretty plastic balls, there can be LOTS of carrydown. I'd only suggest that you make sure you hit the dry area with the Recharge.
The pearlized Recharge, especially with pin over bridge, may be better saved for drier conditions, when the HRPS either burns up in the midlane or can't make the turn; then, maybe, pull out the Recharge.

Yea that is the main reason that i purchased the recharge, to get more lenght out of the ball when my HRPS burns up. Im well aware that the cores and covers are different, i wanted to get an atomic charge but decided against it because the coverstocks are the same, so i opted for the recharge.
Im just looking for conditions to use the ball on, so it isnt just a decoration in my bag. My HRPS seems to go pretty strong all 3 games in leauge.
On the 2nd shift after the ladies leauge, teh recharge handles the carry down pretty decent only on straight shots.

Yea i opted against the atomic charge, because its a solid reactive just like my HRPS, so my planning thought it would be better to have balls with different coverstocks for different purposes to have differnt "looks" when im playing.
