I don't know, I've seen the XXX be pretty tame too. I've got a Recharge, and although I used it lefthanded, it's actually pretty strong. Being also that the left side is a lot drier than the right at the house I bowl at, I saw no roll out, it retained plenty of energy, and ultimately makes me want to drill one righthanded. It was between label and stacked.
As far as burning up energy, I have an Atomic Charge and a Super Charge. They're both drilled stacked, with the exception that I put the weighthole on the Atomic a little above my axis, and the one on the Super below and to the right of my axis. They're both still in box condition, and the Atomic rolls out, doesn't hook much, and just plain gives me fits. The Super on the other hand, a more aggressive ball with a more aggressive drill, and an rg in the basement reacts just perfectly. Plenty of energy left for the backends, rolls up to the pocket, has hit that would put any Buzzsaw to shame, and carries the world. Why is it that a less aggressive ball with a higher rg, and a tamer weighthole placement would have the symptoms of burning up whereas a ball that should burn up more quickly doesn't? I don't know, and sometimes it's just unexplainable. I've had 3 Raging Red Fuzes now, all three drilled exactly the same, weightholes in the same place, everything. The first two were awesome, and this new one hooks early and rolls out. I'm not throwing it any differently, and the conditions definitely aren't different. Honestly can't tell you or explain it any better than that.
