depth charge woes

ive had my depth charge for about 2 months now, and im getting very frustrated with it.  i have mine drilled pattern #2: pin to right of fingers, CG swung to right, and weight hole.  i throw around 15 mph with some pretty good revs. but i cant seem to get anything out of this ball. if there is any carry down at all it just skids, and i dont get very much reaction with clean backends. its been inconsistent as of late as well.  my erase-it is just putting it to shame. is there anything i can do? please help.

If it is still factory polished you could try scuffing it lightly with a grey scotch brite pad.  Should give it a little more bite in oil and carrydown.

I happen to have storms layout packet right here by me. Layout 2, the cg is swung way out ot the right which puts tha mb way out there, It says the mb shoudl be on the players PAL. THis layout will give u alot of mid lane!

If your looking for skid snap(which i assume by u saying i cant get nothing on freshback ends) its not ganna get skid snap with this drill.

Also you said it skids thru carry down, which i just cant believe. Its a particle peral cover stock and with this mid lane drill theres just no way it could skid. YOur ball shoudl be able to handle med- hvy to hvy.

i agree with J Mac, the factory polishes can sometimes clog the pores in the coverstock and make the ball skid more than it should.  scuffing it will help open the surface up and let the cover work.

i rechecked my driling, and i actually have layout #3.  with the CG not swung out so much.  i scuffed it up and it seems to be what i need.  i am going to try it monday on a fresh shot and see what it does.  thanks for your help

well if u scuffed it up that wil make it worse, because layour 3 is worse!

This is 3 3/8s pin and cg distance. This will amke the most revs u can get, so if u have med revs(or anythign above) + more high revs fromt he ball will = major burnign up. This ball for u should only be used on hvy oil from now on!

if u have low revs, then its ok to use on med oil.
