I've heard mixed signals and can't figure it out?

Also... is this a true HEAVY OIL ball?

Particle Solid
And yes it handles oil very well.
Every time I have seen one being used it was burning up unless they were HIGH speed bowler or it was a FLOOD.

Here is what I have found with my Fear Factor.  I keep it dulled with a green scotch brite pad, and try to save it only for floods, when nothing else in my bag moves.  For me, it seems to move more on oil than my other equipment, but does not carry well.  I seem to notice just about everything, 10's, 7's, even occasional pocket 5 pins.  I'm sure this could be from too much surface, but i only use it when my Rule and Animal won't move, so I need the extra grip on the lane.  My Swamp Monster, and Flash Flood seem to carry a little better on heavier oil, so the Fear Factor may just not be a good match for me, but overall hooks on the oil, just doesn't carry for me.

This ball has very mixed reviews.  Of course Randy Peterson shot 279 on TV with it.

In our area it wasn't great but now several guys I know are using it highly polished in league.  Boy it sure looks like pearl particle then.

Anyway it is smooth even and they are carrying and having lots of high series on medium wiht it!

Surprising it is sort of making a revival.  Not a real heavy oil ball in the state I see it in!

REgards,

Inverted ??? core (x deuce or was it triple X) I'll have to go check.
