The Pyro is discontinued, yes. However, some pro shops still have one or two sitting around since it was discontinued fairly recently. I'm sure you'll be able to find one somewhere online if you look hard enough.
My first Special Agent cracked very shortly after I got it... at the same exact time as my original Reactor coverstock Spit Fire. Both balls were bought and drilled within a week of each other at the same pro shop. Storm replaced both balls no questions asked -- the new balls have had TONS of games but show no signs of cracking.
Tony had five different balls he drilled crack in one week, and all were Storm/Rotogrip balls he received at around the same time, however it could have just been coincidence or the result of where they were stored or something like that. He hasn't had any problems with any other Reactor or RS2 balls cracking since then.
