reign on vs wrecker.
« on: October 30, 2013, 09:07:26 PM »
Looking for general comparisons. Assuming they're drilled the same, and at their box finishes. Oil handling, shape?

based on the numbers alone I would assume not much. Reign on might be a touch earlier and hook a little more overall because of the cover? I'm sure someone has thrown both. Lmk. Thanks.

And were due for a disturbed/deranged hybrid right?

Maybe for you, I've seen plenty of people do well with the Reign series. The Reign On should be stronger overall than the Wrecker, which would have more skid and sharper angle downlane

Every person i know, including PBA members and storm staffers agree that the Reign line is junk.  If it works for you, great.  But mostly everyone, including myself have had no luck with them.

Not trying to discredit this ball at all, since I have not seen it yet, but.....I had zero success with the Reign line of balls.

I do have a friend, however, who spins it when he releases the ball, and he loves the Reign line!! Go figure.

Every Reign ball has been hook stop. The Cam core rolls too forward. I disregard all Reign line balls.

in mine? not a whole lot right now...storm iq tour pearl...venom toxin...strike king...are the 3 balls i mainly use...like i was saying i just got a wrecker and am getting it drilled up today

my problem was that the old center i bowled in used a ton of oil so i when i started buying i had to go with all heavy oil stuff...now this center barely puts anything on so now i am stocking up light/medium balls

I have the Wrecker and love it. You just have to be careful with your ball speed and dont over shoot the break point. It carries everything and very sharp move to the pocket. I use it a pretty medium to heavy house shot in one house and in another house they pit the Kegel High Road. It works great on both.
