Layout: Pin above middle finger about 5.5 inches from PAP. CG kicked out a little right of palm. No extra hole, box finish.
About me: 500 RPM 19 MPH.
There will not be any surprises with the Reign Supreme. This ball is exactly what it is supposed to be, a hybrid of the Reign and Reign of Fire. It is not as skid/flippy as the Reign, but more than the Reign of Fire.
I threw this ball compared to a Second Dimension. Compared to the Second Dimension, the Reign Supreme reacted stronger off the friction. The Second Dimension for me just kind of rolls all the way down the lane and is very predictable. The Reign Supreme was cleaner through the front and responded much stronger at the end of the pattern forcing me 2-3 boards deeper, but it was not really a skid/flip motion. It is what you would expect from a hybrid.
I also compared this ball to the Hyroad. For as good as the Hyroad is, I can’t use it very often because it is too strong through the front of the lane, but not strong enough for me when I want to open the lane up. The Reign Supreme will allow me to go straighter through the front of the lane so I can keep my angles closer together. I see the Reign Supreme being a great benchmark ball that is predictable and can be used on a variety of patterns.
