Whoa, talk about books of knowledge. Thank you very much for the advice, all of you. Granted I'm a handful of years younger than dlenart (I'm 23), I have seen the benefits of experience, and anticipating the change. I guess I'm just learning on some of the more interesting patterns around this area. The handicap league I'm in on Tuesday nights is mind-numbingly weird. It's so hard for me to have a consistent shot, and I have no clue why. I might be psyching myself out, but it just seems that the shots are never consistent. It just gets frustrating, but that's bowling, right?
But an open mental game is definitely a huge thing for me also. I do tend to have a hot head in the handicap league, but in the PBA Experience, I learned to not get mad and it's definitely shown in my scores...the past month or so I'm averaging around a 190. I should probably keep a cooler head next week in THS league.
Just out of curiosity, do you guys find that summer leagues have way crazier shots laid out than in the winter? Or is just this house I'm at? Haha, thanks again guy! I appreciate the help very much
