Replacement for an X Factor

The original X Factor was the last ball I have really thrown well. It got damaged just after I shot my 300 with the ball.

After throwing a lot of Lane 1 stuff for teh last 5 years I want to try Storm again.

Our oil pattern is basically the same as it was when I shot my 300 so the question is....

What current ball most closely resembles the X Factor in terms of ball reaction?

Take a look at a virtual energy. I had the same problem with my x factor it got chewed up in the ball return. I recently punched a virtual energy and I noticed it was quite similar to my afactor good midlane pick up and nice pop on the back. im not sure what you style speed or revs are im a tweener that throws 15mph and im real impressed from what ive seen so far. If you want to go a little older. maybe look for a fired up. good luck

Average speed and revs.....15-16 MPH and about 350 RPM if I had to guess.

My X Factor was perfect on our house shot. It got damaged, I drilled another one and it wasn't the same. I have a used one sitting here but am afraid it will be another no go.

I found the original Eraser PBT (orange and blue) and the original X Factor to be a perfect 1-2 punch at that time.

Maybe a Virtual Energy and a Hyroad to replace them?

I am only asking a question here Doug ( and  not trying to disrespect you )

You work at a Pro-Shop and not sure what current Storm ball would be close to the X-Factor ????

Something just doesnt seem right with this question.....

doug we are about the same the with speed and rev rates. I agree with big hook a second dimension might not be a bad choice either. but i still say if you can find a fired up get one you will be suprised how close that ball is to the a factor on the back.

well spinboy people around here dont buy a lot of the high end equipment...well actually they dont buy a whole lot of equipment period....so I dont get to see a lot of the newer stuff on the lanes.

You can look at all of the numbers you want (RG, diff, intermediate diff etc) but they dont tell the whole story.

There are plenty of members on here that get to see, drill and throw way more equipment than I do so I am simply asking for some help.

Is that a problem?

From what I remember about my X Factors, Gravity Shift would be very similar.  Love my Gravity Shift.  They don't make these balls anymore either, but at least there should still be some around.
