Probably really close.  I can compare a scream/shout to tropical heats.  And how those are different.

I have been had the shout forever now and best comparison I can think of is this.  The storm line is going to for the most part have a nice clean exit off the pattern, much like a hyroad. 

The roto line IMO through my own observations is big flashy movement, (granted they make control peices ofcourse), "hey look at me" style. 

So I would have to say the the ride is going to be smoother and Probably more even throughout its 3 stages of motion.

The loco should be more length and more flip.

When I throw both lines they always remind me of throwing two balls...the hyroad and the nomad...

One is your control (storms always "roll") one is your motion ball (roto's always hook a lot for me)

I think storm and Brunswick are very similar when comparing that Roto is similar to dv8.

If tough to say that becuase they both are filling the same spot in a bag.  I would every video you especially any videobmakers that showcase both balls.

I'm also considering a Ride or Loco Pearl for use when the track area is dried out by the 3rd game.  I'm assuming your 2 7/8 pin layout smoothed out the reaction too much.  What type layout would you typically use to get the more angular reaction on the backend with these types of balls?

Don't be afraid of the solid loco. It's got polish...and its much easier to read off the dry versus the pearl.  Usually when I think of low volume or dry Lanes I instantly think pearl.. But the solid is the better choice! I promise.

I love solid covers Billy and I would have already gotten the solid loco if I didn't already have a smooth reaction from my Ride.

My favorite ball is my original Blue Vibe and I still throw it from time to time

Have Locos Pearl and Solid in my house and also the a bunch of Rides and Joy Rides.  The rides I have seen both pin up and pin down.

My impressions!  My teammate has a Loco Pearl and a Punch out.  The punch out a pushy skid snap or should I say rev push and rounded aggressive curl!  The Loco pearl drilled same drill angle but slightly weaker covers same boards but more evenly.  More controllable less hook.  Our Loco Solids have looked in our longer shot (lately) house well just....confusing and a struggle to find the pocket.  I think shorter shots might be a different story.

Our Joy Rides have looked like crap on our 3 game league shot(just not enough).  The Rides have been drilled pin up(over the ring and stacked) and looked great!  Our shot is a strong friction midlane and our great matchup on the ride comes from a strong up the back very good left!  (Perfect for the house).Also the pin down ones...look like a strain.

To me...the Punch outs and the the Rides in this area look like a killer combination for lighter mediums and not a formal shorter or super dry shot!
