Skid-Snap balls

What would be the best Storm skid-snap balls for light and for med. heavy
conditions.  I already have a Too Hot so am looking for a little better reaction
for light to medium.

Any help would be appreciated.

Eraser Blaze for light (hooks more than the Too Hot, but I don't think you'll find a ball with better reaction as far as skid/snap for light conditions), and a Trauma (if you can find one) or probably an Eraser Particle Pearl.  Maybe even a Core Power HRG.

i have and eraser that i keep polished and that thing skid/ snaps well on medium stuff, i havnt thrown any other balls in the flash line but i love my eraser but it does need some dry in the backend, its only downside is that once the oil starts to carry down and evaporate it can get real over/under real fast, thats why ill be looking for something like your too hot for a smoother reaction in these cases...

i liked the hot rod in there it was enough stronger to  cover most med to light conditions.

Hot Rod will handle most medium conditions but it reads the mid-lane a bit too much to call it a true "skid / snap" ball.  I wouldn't consider an HRG for this reaction either...if anything out of the power group I would look into a Charge.  Now in the flash line the Eraser comes to mind over the Blaze.  With my game the Blaze was just inconsitent , even though I know it's a great ball for the right person.

Eraser for me has been a great skid/flip ball, for all 3+ years I have thrown it. I have mine drilled pin between the fingers and above with the CG kicked out a little. Ball skids, revs and turns hard (well not as hard as 3 years ago but still pretty close!). Shot 800 with it twice (in practice of course but have the printouts to prove it) which means the ball is still in my bag. From what I have seen the Trauma and Blaze are great as well for s/f, though I have not thrown either. The Ultra Hot for me was another one but couldnt handle much oil. Wonder how the new Eraser Pearl will be....

The Power Charge isn't going to S/F....too low of an RG....yes ?? no ?? Other than that, I agree 100% with the Goofster!

If you want to try something different, and want S/F on mediums....Silver Streak Solid or pearl...YIKES!

i wish storm would do the demo days like ebonite does. i would so much like to try certain balls like the eraser or eraser particle pearle or charge. Instead of buying a ball and it not being the right ball for me even thought the stats on it sound good

More depends on the cover than the core. Look at the new Track Threat. With the old Heat core it has, you'd never suspect that ball would skid/flip as much as it does. My opinion is that Track hurt that ball by polishing the light load particle cover to a HIGH Gloss. It is right up there with the Silver Streak Pearl in its "Flippibility" index. Both covers need to be taken down 2 notches unless you like or need the "Left turn now, Clyde!" factor.

The Bolt still has its uses here, probably more a ball for playing up the lane from outside the heavy stuff these days.
