Sky Rocket is sideways!!!!!! Has a Storm shape from balls in the Fire series and/or Reign (red pearl). Seemed to have more overall read and response to friction than the Rocket. Where Rocket has a tumble and may enter the friction with more of a skid/roll, Sky Rocket is just skid/bounce.
I have it pin above bridge no hole (which for me is like 5 1/4 x 3.5 x 3).
Optimus Solid (same layout as Sky Rocket) has a smooth HARD arch shape. One can create steeper entry angle than IQ Tour Solid. In sum Optimus Solid provides up front traction (but not mega early for me) in the IQ Tour Nano range, clean similarities of an IQ Tour Solid (yes these two conflict BUT the ball has great balance of traction & push front to mid), w/ angularity like an Outlaw or Rapid Fire Solid (I'd also say a bigger T-Road Solid shape).
Bowling performance note:
Left the Optimus Solid oob, used it in a tourney (THS) w/ Pro Anvil Lane, Kegel machine... house typically is known to be tight up front early and the same a few games in but downlane. Was able to use the Optimus Solid for 5 gms straight (just migrating in with the oil).
Used it this past weekend for another tourney all 6 gms on a THS w/ semi used HPL which is known to hook & lighter volume is used (ball still has some surface scuff) and was able to migrate according to transition.
Observation; the ball maintains energy very well.
[I'm a softer speed but higher axis tilt].
Conversely my guy George Gohagen III has one pin above bride no hole and much higher ball speed but mentioned the Optimus Solid was early.
Two completely different bowlers, same layouts, same ball, two different observations. Go figure :-)
