First Seven Hundred Series With Gravity Shift
« on: February 27, 2009, 08:16:32 AM »
Tuesday night I bowled my first seven hundred series, 258,255,214 (727) using a gravity shift, at 4000 abralon and polished with bean's polish.

I bowled the firs two games clean, but opened three times in the third game. The ball was money the first two games, and I did o.k. as I did not miss the pocket. My line begin to dry up by the 4th frame in the third game. I knew it, but refused to move and went 9-, and then threw a split threw the nose.

I moved and finished with a respectable 214, as my average is 172.

I bowl in the toughest house in the city, but this ball made the shot look easy even with me throwing that night.

I wish storm had a good ball to play under the gravity shift, as our shot tends to be on the dry side all too often.

If you have not tried the gravity shift, for me, it hits and carries as good as anything I have thrown, including the cell.

Good Shooting rider.  I love the Shift line.

I know this is bringing back a somewhat older topic, Congrats BTW, but the Storm Street Rod Pearl is money on lighter stuff, its not ridiculous flippy, its just the right strength, good house shot ball to play near the friction and an overall good ball on conditions that are on the lighter side of medium.

Thanks. I have a used one that I picked up some time ago but have never got around to redrilling it.

I may do that today, although I bought a jazz that I was planning on drilling this afternoon.
