USBC entry angle data
« on: July 11, 2009, 01:11:52 PM »
My father and i are having a dispute about the usbc enrty angle data. Does anyone know where i can find the data with a picture of what the "perfect" entry angle should be? I know it is 6* but am looking for a picture to aid in our discussion.

Here are some links to different articles pertaining to entry angle:

I don't think any of them have pictures, but they do talk about the entry angle being between 4 1/2 and 6 degrees.

Hammer:

Paul Ridenour said in Advanced HOTS in Las Vegas that 6* is equivalent to the ball getting back to the FLUSH pocket from the 1/2 board at 45 feet.  Either he or Mo said there is no one that achieves that entry angle off their hand.  If you want more specific information, contact him directly at the USBC.

Satan, my ball was doing that on Cheetah in Belton this weekend.  Wait, that was the 1/2 board at 5 feet.
