Please help with comparison with the shift and n-Sane

I'll put this on the MoRich board as well.

I have the Shift and the N-Sane drilled very similar. Is there enough difference in these two bowling balls to carry both of them to the military bowling championships next week or do they over lap?

N-Sane is much more of a backend ball than the Shift.  I'd say a little overlap - but not much.

Thank you for the feedback.  I'll practice with both today to see how they handle different areas of the lanes.

Since the Shift has some particle mixed in with the pearl cover, it should read a little earlier and be a little smoother than the N-Sane, theoretically.  You may be able to utilize both by changing the covers -- keep the N-Sane polished, knock the shine off the Shift (2000 grit maybe?) to give you a smoother reaction with more midlane.  When one isn't carrying, you can switch to the other, play the same general part of the lane, and get a different angle to the pocket.

I have to agree.  I have a Shift and two 'NSane's, and the Shift is a bit earlier and smoother than either of them.  The Shift has a tendency to give me a bit of difficulty with my game in that the particle makes it a bit too aggressive for a medium-dry lane ball, in that it doesn't carry too well, but can't get around the corner for me on much more oil than that.  Still tweaking the cover, and on my second drill with the Shift, slowly finding what works and what doesn't for it.
