Hyroad surface changes
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:45:22 AM »
I tried taking my hyroad to 2000 grit, but wasn't getting that good of a reaction with it, So I figured I would take it back down with a slightly used 1000 abralon and then put polish on it, Now the ball is going way to hard and is what I wanted, I was trying to get it as close as possible to oob as possible without having to buy the storm polish that puts it at 1500 grit. What surface adjustments do I need to do now to give it its oob reaction? Thanks, and would like to know asap, leave for a tournament in Indianapolis Sunday and would like to change it before then.

I took a 1000 pad and sanded 6 sides. Then i took a 4000 pad on top of that and did the same. That took to a surface that reacted like oob but was a little duller looking.
