Rumors Of Next Master Line Ball
« on: November 27, 2004, 10:29:21 PM »
Anyone hear of when the next STORM Master Line ball will be released or what it will be (i.e. coverstock, weight block, hook monster, etc...), or what it will be named?

Well, I don't have any info, but I have a feeling that storm will make thier initial 2005 release a brand new design...

They've started out the last two Master lines with pearls, but being that the X-Factor line will end with 2 of the last 3 being pearls, I'm guessing they might start it off with a solid.  I doubt it'll be anything super special.  A new core with Monsoon on it is what I'd expect.  I'd still like to see Monsoon pearl on the original X-Factor core, that might just make for a ball as close to perfect as you can get.  Mystic Pearl on a new core would be nice though, or Mystic solid, how about that?  I'm just rambling now, I just hope they don't do that whole teaser thing again, irritated the piss out of me.

Which really makes no sense because the ACE (1 or 11) came 4th.
So in reality you had the X, Deuce (2nd) Triple (3rd), Ace (4th)
Now QUAD? (5th) How about the Penta-Factor?

Personally I don't care what the name is. BUT I would like to see just a solid single color ball again for a change.

LOL

Anybody know of a ball called the Storm "Rolling Thunder"?
I have not heard of it. Don't think its a US release or future release but not sure.
Somebody told me it was on the ABC's approved list for Nov. '04 was wondering if it was an overseas release?
One of the guys up here wants one.

Billy Ray,

Rolling Thunder is a line of bags by Storm. They may have released a ball by the same name but if they did I can't find any info on it.

There is a discontinued line of balls called Thunder released in '96, but that doesn't include a Rolling Thunder.

As a pro shop owner/operator and Storm Staff member I know that the rolling thunder is a line of bags from storm. My original post referred to the ABC Approved ball list ad the fact that a customer had pointed me to it and asked about the ball. Was wondering if anyone here knew if it was an overseas release or a pro-am ball? I know we have alot of overseas people on here they may have seen it. This customer is looking to get one as a display/collectors ball for his office.

I have heard some rumours running around from some of my friends on tour that they x factor line will actually be completly done.  Supposedly (this is just rumour) that they will be going to a master pro line.  I dont know about it.  But they are talking about a line with a new weight block similar to the new morich core.  DONT KNOW I HEARD IT AS A RUMOUR AND COMING FROM MY FRIEND HE IS PROBABLY ABOUT 60%RIGHT SO TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT

Well, we all pretty much know the X-Factor line is over, and naturally the new line will have a new core, lol.  I'd say the speculation is founded.

Just wanted to add that Penta-Factor would be a great name lol.  And i may be werong, but the X-factor core looks just like an inverted Electrical Storm core with the added disks. Hmmmm...what core will they use next?  I would like them to bring back the El Nino Motion Control Core.  Idea- MC2 engine and Monsoon tire...El Nino Platinum?  I think I am rambling now and will shut up.

Is it bad when you have to list the many bowling balls you've had on MULTIPLE sheets of paper? 148 and counting..............
