second dimension vs. gravity shift

I currently own a gravity shift and throw it most of the time and was looking to get another pearl and was looking at this one.

Very similar reactions for me. I think the 2nd dimension is more angular in the back part of the lane.

The 2D, IMO, will have a stonger midlane read than the GS where I feel the GS can provide a quicker response off the spot( more angular). That's not to say the 2D doesn't face up, because it does that extremely well and the continuation through the deck is outstanding. Also, the 2D has a better look when carry down is a factor. I have both and the layouts for them are miles apart, they both serve different purposes. Can't go wrong with either piece.

My 2nd hooks more down lane than the gravity shift.
