layout for 2nd troad pearl
« on: August 02, 2007, 01:28:18 AM »
i'm looking for some advice for the layout to use for my 2nd troad pearl. the first i have is 4 1/2 pin to pap. 17-18mph higher rev rate, looking for something long and strong for use in match play well the heads are fried and there is some carrydown. my pap is 4over 1/2 up. thanks in advance

You could try a longer pin-to-PAP position. Something in the 5-5.5" range and have the core in a 75-90 degree angle to your track. This way the flare potential is less than what you have and the core is in a position where it won't tip until later down the lane. You could then tweak your surface to maximize/minimize your length.........

best layout i had on the T-road Pearl was RICO.  This still had a very good backend for me, but was very controllable.
