have these two coming in tomorrow and wondering what some good 1-2 punch layouts might be for them, hopefully jeff carter will respond, but any info would be appreciated. about average speed, with moderate hand

Personally I have both with the pin above my bridge on both balls (4.75" pin-PAP, no holes, 75deg Key). The Shift reacts about 3ft sooner with a smoother roll in the midlane and backend. The T-Road is more angular at the break point and comes off the dry very strong. It is less angular than the Fired Up however.
IMO these 2 are a great 2 ball combo. Add a Special Agent with the pin under the fingers for a stronger ball and a Jolt Pearl beneath these 2 and you have a nice 4 ball arsenal.
